My habibi had the best chicken around ! Nothing better than juicy non greasy chicken with lots of flavors ! Kudos

the food is always fresh - & hot - everything on the menu is good- been eating there for 25 yrs - better chicken than kfc - popeyes- churchs etc ...

I really can't say enough if your a home style chicken lover or have those big party's the foods great good priced. The only other place I get chicken from is in paterson chicken supreme union Blvd .

I've cooked fried chicken for years but got tired of the clean up (oil/grease everywhere). Through the years it became hard to find fried chicken, crispy out-side, tender and moist inside and seasoned (not too salty) until my son told me of the chicken place on Monroe street. Well, walking around today to satisfy my desire for some good fried chicken I found Passaic Fried Chicken and so glad I did. I ordered a breast and 2-2pc chicken dinners and was not disappointed. Sorry I didn't order a little extra for tonight. Considering ordering a much larger amount for my niece's upcoming graduation party - it's that good. A new customer of theirs from now on. New in the area.

ive been coming here since i was about 10 and it keeps getting better. i really love their (prepackaged) deserts and of course their chicken

Passaic Fried Chicken aka Monroe Fried Chicken is very similar to the Kennedy Fried Chickens you commonly find in the hood. These fried chicken places in the not so nice area are all pretty much the same. They serve fried chicken, heavily seasoned with minimal breading, along with a plethora of other items, ranging from Jamaican beef patties to mozzarella sticks. I tend to stick with fried chicken at these places. I got a 5 piece box with potato wedges for about $7. Pretty sweet deal. A beef patty rounded out my selection. It was a good beef patty, freshly fried and well seasoned chicken, and very crispy potato wedges. With fried chicken being my favorite food, it was easy for me to like this spot.

My friend Nick C has been on a journey to replicate his soul food experience in Washington D.C. Today he decided to try out a recommendation from our boss. We were told that it was called Monroe Fried Chicken but it turns out that is merely the "hood" name. I'm not really a fan of fried chicken but I am told by Nick and Edgar that you haven't tried fried chicken unless you tried it from the "ghetto". Im not exactly sure what that means but I played along to avoid talking about fried chicken any longer. Much to my surprise the "ghetto" fried chicken at passaic fried chicken was the best I've ever had. It was crispy, spiced well, and void of excess grease. It was also really cheap even though I didn't have to pay on account of Nick feeling like a generous god today. It's also apparently halal which I dont believe but the sign cant lie I guess. It's also worth noting that the cashier is protected by bulletproof glass which really adds to the ambiance and makes you feel really safe while ordering food.
